The Yellow Wallpaper

I remember reading this short story (The Yellow Wallpaper)in high school. I've always remembered it. There's lots of yellow around at the moment, I guess it made it pop into my head!

Good ole Wikipedia explains, ""The Yellow Wallpaper" is a 6,000-word short story by American writer Charlotte Perkins Gilman, first published in January 1892 in The New England Magazine.[1] It is regarded as an important early work of American feminist literature, illustrating attitudes in the 19th century toward women's physical and mental health".

It's an unusual story, strange but also compelling.

Gilman explains why she wrote it here.

Let me know what you think!

I'm off to read it, but before I do-- I'm almost positive I watched a very short video made on this story, when I was like. . .5 or 6. I remember being sooo weirded out by the story, lol! Off to check it out.
